This distance education training course is designed to equip you with a foundational knowledge of SCADAPack RTUs and software programs designed to maximize the opportunity SCADAPack products offer. You will be introduced to Telepace Studio, Realflo and Simark's newest software offering, SCADASuite.

Hands-on training will help you put theory to practice giving you the skills and confidence you need to be a SCADAPack user.

Course Outline

Review new and existing hardware and software products, including: Traditional SCADAPack with SCADASuite, Updated SCADAPack with Remote Connect, Trio Radios, Accutech Transmitters and ClearSCADA Telemetry and Remote Software.

SCADAPack Hardware & Telepace Studio Programming

Hands-on review of individual SCADAPack products, applications, and hardware components. Introduction to features in the Telepace Studio Programming software including ladder logic programing, step by step instructions to build a ladder logic program in Telepace Studio.

Realflo Flow
Configuration

Introduction to features in the Realflo flow computer configuration software, learn in detail how the flow computer operates and understand flow computer regulations. Step by step instructions to build and simulate a flow computer in Realflo, utilizing the Gas, Liquid and Water flow computer functionality.

SCADASuite - A ecosystem of unique applications for SCADAPack

Introduction to the SCADASuite software, learn how to build a measurement compliant Welltesting application utilizing the programming previously created in Realflo. Then quickly implement a templated plunger lift application in SCADASuite, and use the SCADASuite simulation to test the plunger lift application.

SIMARK will provide the following training equipment for the course:

SCADAPack 350 RTU licensed with the Realflo Gas, Liquid and Water flow runs
SCADAPack IO simulator (4 switch D/O, 4 A/O (0-5 volt), 1 free running pulse O/P)
All the cables to communicate to the SCADAPack (USB, Ethernet and Serial)

Additional information:

It will take a minimum of 21 hours to complete the training manual
You will need to submit the take home exam to receive a record of completion
